Christmas!

We had lots of fun with our niece & nephews in Georgia.

Then we headed to England. My first time home in 2 years and I got to meet my niece Ava

My Two favourite people. EVER

I tried to fit her in my suitcase to bring her back to Texas, needless to say i was a little over my baggage allowance.

Back to Georgia we went.

and then we headed back to Texas... 16 hours riding in a car nearly killed me but it was all worth it!

New Year's Resolutions

I am so bad at keeping any resolutions I have ever made so I'm hoping this year is different.


1. Keep all of my resolutions.
2. Learn a new language fluently.
3. Keep running and attempt a half marathon.
4. Save enough to start adoption process or for a downpayment on a house.
5. Stress less
6. Try a new recipe atleast once a week.

My Sister's Wedding in Cyprus

My Sister's wedding was absolutely beautiful, so was Cyprus. We had a blast

"B" is for the Beach!

So we decided to do a half day trip to Port Aransas, TX on labour day. I loved it. So many people told me how Texas beaches weren't great at all, I guess they might not be unless you grew up swimming in the north sea. I loved it.

We spent a few hours at the beach then decided to drive back through Corpus Christi, Texas and stopped to eat. It was a great day and I'm sad we left in til the end of summer to discover Port Aransas.
